Hi There! I'm Matthew Lawrence
- I'm a husband, and a father of three teenagers!
- For 25 years I've served in Christian Ministry.
- I've been a Children's Pastor, Youth Pastor, Young Adult Pastor, & Assistant Pastor.
- I've also spent 21 months living in Eastern Europe as a missionary.
- And now, I am a Christian Life & Leadership Coach, and a "Soul Seeker" in my community.
In 2015, I was serving as an assistant pastor in a local church. That same year, I attended a training conference where I learned some new ideas on how to talk with non-Christians about God. Later that year, I left my ministry in the local church, and took a job working for a friend on his construction crew. Everyday, I prayed for God to give me opportunities to talk with some of the guys about Him. As you can imagine, construction workers can sometimes be a bit rough. They aren't viewed as the kind of people who want to talk about Jesus. But, I discovered they were very open to talking about God...when I approached them the right way.
Two years later, I started working at another construction company. Again, I asked God to give me opportunities to talk with people about Him. And, God opened doors for me to have spiritual conversations; some with field workers, and some with managers. Over the past 10 years, I have learned basic methods that have made it possible for me to effectively witness to others for Christ. God has shown me how to talk with just about ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. And after 10 years of learning, practicing, and finding success, God told me I needed to share it with other Christians so they can maximize their influence and become effective witnesses too! (Before He Returns...)
So, I've Created A Solution For You!

75% of Christians in the U.S. admit that they don't share Christ with non-believers.

Some of them want to witness for Christ.........And some of them don't!

But 36% of those also say they're not doing it!

That's 1 out of every 4!
We have to ask ourselves.........WHY AREN'T MORE CHRISTIANS SHARING?
One answer is.........BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW HOW, AND THEY'RE AFRAID TO!
AND, HERE'S HOW THAT PLAYS OUT IN THEIR LIFE......
They know God wants them to "make disciples," because they keep hearing about it at church, in their small group, on the Christian radio station, and when they read their Bible. They are constantly being reminded of it everywhere!
And they feel the Holy Spirit prompting them to witness to someone, because randomly the idea will pop into their head that they should talk with a particular person they know about Jesus.
And when that happens, they question whether the idea came from them or God? And eventually, they realize it was actually God speaking to them...
And then they wrestle with the idea of doing it, because they're not sure how to start the conversation, or what to say to the other person. And they worry about what the other person will think of them.
And all sorts of questions start to flood their mind, and the more they think about it, the more they feel anxiety and fear.
They may have even tried to talk to that person before, and it didn't end well. So, they feel like they failed, and that the other person doesn't want to hear it.
So, they decide not to take action, because they don't wan't to mess up...
And, in their heart they feel tension ---- like they're caught in a tug-of-war.
They're wrestling with God, because they want to honor and obey him, but they don't want to create conflict and lose a relationship either.
They feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.
And they don't know what to do to solve their problem, without having to take a huge risk!
